Is there some way to apply record scratching to our tracks?

Hi alsplace1970. If you do not have a dedicated sampler, there are other ways to achieve the same effect. Do you have a turntable and desk/amp? I'm sure you already know, the effect is created by physically moving the vinyl record, on the turntable, back and forward with your hand. (with the stylus on the record)
If you have the above gear you could connect the turntable/amp to your PC soundcard and record it.
Or you could search the web for the sounds you want and import them into n-Track. Either way, once you have them on your PC you can manipulate them. If you have the sound of a 'scratch' you can cut in half and reverse the second half etc to get the same sound.

Let us know how you get on.

You can't expect N to do everything. Here is a cool scratching setup using
FL Studio. It's a great program and you can use it as a ReWire app
in N. These two YouTube vids show you how to do it. Pretty neat.

There are actually 6 parts to the tutorial. And while it may seem
a lot to deal with, you can set up a template one time and have it
available for future use.  Part 6 is especially interesting - where
all the different types of sctatches are demo'd.
I am going to spend some time and try setting this up myself.
Should be a party, after a couple of drinks.

Nicely 7. I fancy a play around with that. Ok, my idea was a little Heath Robinson but I did manage to pull-off a decent 'scratch', admitedly using Audacity for the editing.
