If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

CNN Transcript.

Bush subjects - I guess it's OK if I do actually call Bush a dictator now  :p  :O

what exactly did bush do that would define him as a dictator?

From the Merriam Webster DIctionary

Pronunciation: 'dik-"tA-t&r, dik-'
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin, from dictare
1 a : a person granted absolute emergency power; especially : one appointed by the senate of ancient Rome b : one holding complete autocratic control c : one ruling absolutely and often oppressively

Let's see.  A person granted absolute emergency power. It could be easily argued that Bush was granted such power post 9/11.

One appointed by the senate.  Well he wasn't voted in. You could say he was appointed by the court.

One ruling absolutely....  the "Patriot Act",  going to war against the wishes of the rest of the world.

And often oppressively... ask anyone who is not a part of the upperclass in this country or anyone in the various places Bush has invaded during his term...

Obviously said for fun but there is no substantial backing for such a claim which is typical of the hard right wing Republicans.  There is substantial evidence though that Bush would not tolerate his own actions if he ran a middle eastern country. If this concept is beyond your reasoning, I'm sure an explanation wouldn't help.

using the war and the patriot act are foolish examples. both of these were voted on and passed by the congress. the congress and the president are voted for by us. both the war and the patriot act were supported by a majority of the DEMOCRATS in the house and senate. how exactly are these two examples the acts of a dictator when the majority of our representatives supported it?  sounds more like democracy to me.

And often oppressively... ask anyone who is not a part of the upperclass in this country

im not part of the upperclass.  why dont you explain how ive been oppressed.
