Hi n-Track Users:
I am in the process of installing a VST dll into the VST Folder of n-Track..

The VST Plug is This one..

However, after I did a Copy-and-Paste, of the .dll. it does not appear on the VST list to open on a Track on the timeline.. It (the .dll) appears in the n-Track VST folder..

  Is this a VST OR ..  a VSTi..  ????

Any help with this issue, would be better than where I am, at the moment..

  Thanks..

     Bill..

It's a VSTi.

It works fine in Reaper. I don't have n installed. You're on your own there... but check your VSTi instrument list.

You should find it under Add Channel->Add New Instrument Channel->VSTi. If its not there you may want to try re-copying the file to the vstplugin directory.

Thanks for the information..
I did some investigating on the Plug's page..  The plug appears like it's not supported any more..  I might be wrong..  Anyway, I have discovered that in fact it is a VSTi..  The download comes without the installer..  Some kind of SDK Program ????  I went looking for it over on the Steinberg page..  I believe it's there..  However, I'm not the sharpest needle in the bunch..

I'm missing phoo big time..  He usually jumps in about this time and throws me over the crossbar..  I get up-and-running, then I reply with a BIG Thanks..

Thank you Flavio, for looking in on this topic..  It's not n-Track..  It appears to be the Plug-in's issue..

For anyone interested in this..  I believe it's (the plug) is a Kick Modeler..  Now, I'm wondering if the VSTI really works..

 Anyone played with this thing????

       Bill..

Thank you Gentlemen:
I got it (the VSTi ) up-and-running..  I took the unpacked KickMaker Folder and copied the KickMaker Folder to the VSTi folder in n-Track , after I deleted the .dll file from the VST folder..

I opened n-Track's timeline and launched the VSTi unto the timeline..  Lo-and-Behold  The KickMaker comes up and Now I need to play with the plug to see if I can create a Kick..

It looks like it might have potential..  after all..  Or is it ME ????    :p

Hi, Bill. If ever a plug doesn't show, run a re-scan in the browser.

Hi TonyR:
Thanks for the reply..  That was strange, when I opened n-Track after the copy-and-paste of the .dll in the VST Folder..  I figured it was a VST..  No plug showed when I looked on the timeline.. It was then that It came to me in a vision..   A VSTi..  Then It showed up on the timeline..  However, that's as far as I've got with it, so far..

bbrrown's reply, confirmed the TO-DO..   :agree:

I guess I'd better read the docs..

Is there a quick way to get the KickMaker to make a sound????  Do I need to Create a Kick track to use the plug?   Would/might you be able to give me a quick step through the motions to use the plug ??

     Thanks.. in advance..

       Bill..

[edit]  I'll post up a Print Screen of what I see, so far..

It's a VSTi woxnerw. You have to feed it MIDI data to "play" it. Create an instrument track and click around on the piano roll keys... You'll get it figured out pretty quick.

Hi Unblown_Jonson:
Thank you for giving me the head's up..  I almost figured that I'd be heading toward creating a MIDI File and then processing the track through KickMaker..

 I think I'm getting into MIDI, eventually..  One-Small-Step-at-a-Time..   :p    :)

I believe, the good sounding kick track makes for the right bottom end on a well mixed song..
